Natalie first came to IU as a graduate student in 2013. After graduating with a Master of Arts in Hispanic Literature in May 2015, she joined the College of Arts + Sciences as an Academic Advisor later that year and has held that role ever since. Natalie works with students in language and area studies departments to help them on their way toward timely graduation, achieving their academic and professional goals, and navigating the complexity of the university. She's passionate about helping professionals maintain a healthy home life while pursuing their career ambitions and joined the council to advocate for a work/life balance that allows all of IU's bright staff members to thrive. In her free time, she enjoys walks on the B-Line with her husband and son, meals with friends, reading a good book, an indulgent Netflix binge, and constantly rearranging furniture.
