Biography

Role at IU: I work with prospective undergraduate students and families throughout the college search process. While the Office of Admissions focuses on all incoming students, my role exists to specifically support students interested in studying in the Core College. I lead on-campus and virtual information sessions, travel to key markets to meet with accepted students, oversee the scholarship awarding processes for incoming students, and have begun to assist other academic departments with the management of their awards for current students. Primarily, my office is tasked with increasing the yield of our incoming students each year.

Previous Positions at IU: Career Coach with the Walter Center for Career Achievement (June 2018-December 2019)

Degrees and Education: Bachelor of Arts in Psychology w/ a Clinical concentration from Messiah University (2016), a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Development from Taylor University (2018), and a Graduate Certificate in Education Law from IU (2022)

IUBSC Motivations: I’m really passionate about making sure the workplace I’m in is a healthy, constructive, and welcoming place to be. While I enjoy advocating for my community, empowering my peers to advocate for their interests and needs is even more rewarding. I want to help my colleagues to feel successful, supported, and represented.
