IUBSC Motivations: I'm excited to serve on IUBSC because I’ve seen the dedication, hard work, and impact that IUB’s staff contribute to the overall success of IU. Staff deserve as much respect, recognition, support, and access to resources as every other member of the IU community. In my experiences as Director of the THRIVE LLC, I’ve had the utmost privilege to network and connect with staff members and departments across IUB’s campus to highlight their unique strengths, passions, and commitment to their professions through guest speaking opportunities. And while my current focus is on providing students with resources to support their holistic sense of wellbeing, IUB staff need the same champions to promote and advocate for their own unique wellness needs and goals. I am a firm believer that you cannot pour from an empty cup- empowering our staff allows us to empower the rest of the IU community.
