Role at IU: As one of two Assistant Directors of Student Life, I get to oversee some great programs and initiatives in my role. I oversee our Camp Kelley Bloomington, a camp to help direct admit Kelley students meet fellow students before starting school and learning about resources offered at IU and Kelley. I oversee programming ranging from Sophomore Professional Week, a week dedicated to offering programs and events to help sophomores, and for juniors I oversee our I-Core Case Launch and I-Core Celebration which helps students meet their teams before starting, and then celebrating the ending of their I-Core case. I advise our Professional Fraternity Council which oversees 8 professional fraternities. Lastly, I also get the opportunity to plan our Induction Ceremony and help advise 80 different Kelley Student Organizations.
Previous Position at IU: Assistant Director of Career Services at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs
Degrees and Education: Bachelor of Science from University of Southern Indiana, and Master of Science in College Student Affairs at Eastern Illinois University
IUBSC Motivations: I try to take advantage of every opportunity within IU! Whether it be serving on hiring committees or budget meetings, I enjoy networking and helping make Indiana University a better school for our students and a better place to work. I believe I’d be a great fit for the council because I have the drive to help my fellow staff with activities that will advance our university in both education and working environment.
