Chris is a multi-unit fiscal officer and staff trainer in the College of Arts + Sciences Executive Dean’s Office. His units include most of the Dean’s Office and the Departments of History, Folklore and Ethnomusicology, Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures, and many of their subsidiary units like the American Folklore Society and the Russian Flagship Program. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English, and has worked at IU for over twenty five years. He has spent the last seventeen in the College, starting as the Graduate Program Coordinator with Folklore and Ethnomusicology. He moved up to department manager over time, and then on to the Dean’s Office in 2018. He was elected to the Bloomington Staff Council in 2022, serving as a member of the Staff Development Committee and coordinator of the Get To Know Your Campus Tours.
Previous Positions at IU: I have worked at IU for 25 years, holding various positions at UITS (Finance Office Assistant), Campus Recreational Sports (Member Services), RPS (Front Desk Assistant), and multiple positions in Folklore & Ethnomusicology.
