IUBSC Motivations:  I am interested in joining the IUBSC because I believe it is important to create space and opportunity for all of the voices of staff members in all areas of the institution to be heard. In relation to policy, joining the IUBSC will allow me to be positioned to listen as well as identify solutions and best practices related to how policy impacts the work and roles of staff members. I have a unique interest and passion for how the institution engages in staff recruitment and equally as important, staff retention and engagement. Joining the IUBSC will allow me to grow personally and professionally, but also allow representation to be present on the council. I look forward to the opportunity to serve on the IUBSC and to serve the Indiana University staff.
